Teotihuacan

On Sunday I visited more pyramids with a trip to the arqueological zone of Teotihuacan. The pyramids here were much larger and more impressive than any of the others I have visited.


The Pyramid of the Sun is the largest stone pyramid in Precolumbian America. It is a long climb up!

Halfway to the top! Below you can see the "Avenue of the Dead," and in the distance the Pyramid of the Moon.

In the afternoon we visited the Frida Kahlo Museum in Coyoacan near Mexico City. Frida Kahlo was a well-known artist who was married to the muralist Diego Rivera.
