Not There Yet...

This morning I left for Mexico, but somehow I ended up back at home again.
My flight to Houston was delayed, causing me to miss my connection to Puebla, which happened to be the last flight today. I have a new flight tomorrow, so in the morning I will go to the airport to try it all over again. Hopefully I will be arriving sometime mid-afternoon.
I called my host family to tell them that I would not be coming tonight. I tried to explain in Spanish, but then learned that mi hermano speaks some English (I am sure this will be helpful in the future!). Tomorrow they will meet me at the airport, holding a sign with my name. I will be a few hours late for orientation at the school, but the university reassured me it wouldn't be a problem.
I guess it is all a part of the adventure!
